Baglioni Hotel Regina, Rome
rom 1900 to 1906, Queen Margherita, waiting for her new home look, decided to reside in one of the first grand hotels to spring up on Via Veneto in Rome, a street that would become world famous in the 1960s as the hub of La Dolce Vita. When she decided to take up residence in her new palazzo, she granted the hotel where she had stayed the privilege of taking the name “Regina” (Queen).
